Harald Dugstad
holds a M. Sc. in chemistry from Oslo University. He has held management positions and worked with IP strategy in international pharmaceutical industry, and has also several years of experience in business development within new biomedical innovations.
Scientific Board
Kirsten Skarstad
, PhD, Professor. Kirsten Skarstad has a doctoral degree from the University of Oslo, 1987. She holds a Senior Scientist position at the Department of Cell Biology, Institute for Cancer Research, Rikshospitalet HF and has a research group of nine people. Professor Skarstad hold a position as professor II at the Institute of Pharmacy, University of Oslo. She has been a member of the consortium “Replication initiation proteins as new targets for bacterial growth inhibition” under the EU Commission’s 5th framework, 2000 - 2003 and member of the FUGE platform “Center for Advanced Microbial Science and Technology”, 2003 - 2008. Dr. Skarstad has published many papers in the field of DNA replication.
Christoph Weigel,
PhD, diploma in biochemistry from Freie Universität Berlin, Germany. PhD student at the Max-Planck-Institut für molekulare Genetik (Dept. Wittmann), Berlin, Germany. Dr. rer. nat. (PhD) obtained from Freie Universität Berlin, Germany. Dr. Weigel was postdoc at the MPI für molekulare Genetik (Dept. Wittmann), at the Institut für Genbiologische Forschung GmbH and postdoc at the MPI für molekulare Genetik (Dept. Trautner/group Messer), Berlin, Germany. He has been lecturer at the Fakultät III of the Technische Universität Berlin, Germany, and is presently lecturer at the Fachbereich 2 of the FHTW Berlin, Germany.
Steinar Funderud,
PhD: Steinar Funderud Works for the Research Foundation on a part time basis concentrating on strategy, policy making and building relations with collaborators within the field of cancer. Previous appointments include senior scientist and Section Head at Invitrogen Dynal AS, Head of Department of Immunology, the Norwegian Radium Hospital, and Professor in Molecular Biology/Tumor Immunology, University of Oslo. Steinar Funderud serves as Chairman of the Board of the new Centre for Research Based Innovation in Tumor Stem Cells in Oslo and is a member of the Advisory board of The Norwegian Cancer Society.

Jónas Einarsson
, (1957),Chairman of the Board. Jónas Einarsson is CEO of The Radium Hospital Research Foundation and Chairman of the Board of the newly founded Oslo Cancer Cluster. Dr. Einarsson gained his MD from the University of Oslo, has worked as chief regional medical officer in Norway and was responsible for building Norway’s first private hospital institution, Oslo Private Hospital. Dr. Einarsson is also chairman or member of the board of several Norwegian biotechnology companies.
